Archetype: Addressing Connguration Issues in Software Architectures

The concept of software architecture is not new. Software designers have been working on architectures for many years. A bunch of consolidated wellengineered architectural solutions have already been produced and are now being used in everyday practice. Rather than inventing new solutions, research on software architectures is thus concentrating on providing a systematic organization of existing knowledge.
